Heather Woolf has been named Vice President of Ambulatory Services at Broward Health. Woolf will oversee Broward Health Community Health Services, the Broward Health Physician Group, Broward Health Urgent Care, Broward Health Imaging East and West and Home Health. Woolf joined Broward Health in April 2019 as Corporate Director, Cardiovascular Service Line, where she was responsible for the collaborative development and implementation of operating plans related to cardiovascular services throughout the system. 

“Heather is an accomplished healthcare leader and registered nurse with 20 years of experience in various healthcare fields,” said Andrew Ta, chief medical officer, Broward Health. “Her experience in acute care, outpatient and post-acute care settings will enable Heather to further position Broward Health’s ambulatory services as a regional leader in outpatient health care.” 

Prior to joining Broward Health, Woolf served as chief operating officer of Tenet Physician Resources and was responsible for oversight of daily physician practice operations, RCM performance metrics, clinical risk and quality for more than 400 employed providers in Florida and South Carolina markets at more than 100 locations, with 900 employees. 

Woolf attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and received her associate’s degree in nursing from Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, Mass. She was also an international scholar laureate for the Delegation on Nursing in South Africa in 2005.
